  1. Hello, Totally random question but wanted to add to this thread rather than start a new one and not get a response . I'm wondering if anyone receives the following error when deploying an SCCM Windows 8.1 build: 0x00002751. I've searched this web page and other resources and the error appears to have been unheard of. Regards, Ben
  2. Yes I agree, you would assume it was part of the contract?! Obviously not. Myself and the school's business manager have scheduled to meet with the RSM. We'll see if we can twist his arm haha! I'll keep you posted on my findings on Monday.
  3. Hello, I just heard back from our Regional Sales manager with regards to the firmware upgrade and the team here was astonished to hear of the cost! £400?! We protested this amount and suggested that they send us instructions and I can implement it myself. Only problem is; if I come to a problem and require their assistance, they'll charge me the same installation charge; even if it was just a small bit of advice! However, the RSM referred me to Edugeek and bam! I found your post, what type of cable do you have to use? Regards, Ben
  4. Hi All, I've been asked by the PD department to install Autodesk 2014 on their computers in the PD suite. We've purposefully upgraded the machines to SSD's and 8GB of RAM so they are up to the task of running this large software, as well as running other software too. As a test I installed it on one machine. The installation process ran smoothly, however, when it came to running the Autodesk Inventor application it gave me the following error: "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)" I researched this error and other forums have suggested that it's a compatibility issue. That the version of Autodesk I'm running won't work on Windows 8.1 and is only compatible with Windows 8. They suggested to install the SP1 patch and that still came up with the same error message. I opened up a ticket with Autodesk, to see if we can get a fresh license as I assumed that this may be the issue. I sent them a screenshot of the error and they sent me the following link: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/The-application-was-unable-to-start-correctly-0xc0000142.html . This link consisted of possible causes and solutions to help resolve the isssue. However, despite going through each suggested solution, it's proved fruitless. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated Ben
  5. Hi, we're looking to implement a booking software where teachers can book IT Rooms, Meeting Rooms and Laptop cabinets. Just wondering where we can access "Home Access Plus+" ??
