Just bought a bunch for the next school year. It was a better value than Dell when we look into it. Just saw a bad review for the 1st gen (screen had hollow spots in upper corners etc) which was discouraging to watch. Hope the 2nd is better. From experiece, no matter what I put in the students hands, it ends up banged up. I should be able to give more feedback once the year starts.

set-netadapter (as is netsh) is more geared towards the hardware component (disabling adapter, etc). The radio toggle is more software based.

It was a way for us to quickly intervene when there are issues but I guess I could disable the notificaiton panel. There might other ways the wifi could be diconnected but I would venture most of the time it occurs there.

The problem is that I suspect students are toggling the wireless radio in the Windows notification panel or disconnecting the configured wireless from the panel. They don't use the hotkeys

Hello, We are looking for a way to trigger the wireless radio to on at logon to address issues were the wireless was turned off. A powershell script or batch file. The closest we have found is a Lenovo executable TpFnF5.exe with the /allon switch but we would prefer a Microsoft solution. Any ideas?
