Hi Ben. When you open the report template, highlight a row(s) in the table and choose table properties. In the "Row" tab untick the box "Allow row to break across pages". You may need to repeat this in several rows. Hope that helps.

Evening all. HELP. Used Options online fine last year but have hit a brick wall this year. Have set module up exactly as last year and have done a test run with 2 students. Both have received their registration and completed that successfully. However, when they log on to sims-options.co.uk they are told that they cannot choose any choices. Both have been given permissions in the admin portal as students. Any offers anyone? Capita can't figure it out and we are supposedly going live next month. Thanks ...

Evening all. SIMS Parent App help needed. We've just started the set up and have a member of our admin team with a child here so can see what he sees as a parent. However, the calendar part remains confusing. He can see a dummy entry we made, but us admin bods can't see it on the webpage. Dumb question but do admin have to have parental rights (somehow) in order to see what real parents can see, ie calendar. Any replies gratefully received ...

Evening all. Our timetable was completed in July and uploaded to SIMS before we broke up. During the summer 4 members of staff who were due to join our team decided not to come and we had to find 4 newbies. The newbies were added to Nova during our first few days back in place of the no-shows but when the timetabler tries to import it says that the database does not recognise them and will not import them. However, their timetables appear on SIMS! Any thoughts on why we get the error? We've checked staff codes, etc but have drawn a blank. Thanks.

Hey, we went onboard this week and I find it good. Easy to build the pathways/lists and allocate students etc. Having some minor issues with student log-ins but otherwise looking good.

Thank you for the reply CAM. I have left some results alone and deleted some others using the bulk delete results - didn't know that was there!

Afternoon all, Had a message from our IT bod telling me that he had run systems diagnostics this week. The report from it contained several "errors" in assessment. It says that there are duplicate results for several students, ie, a target for art had been entered as A on one date, and then B on another. These results are all for the previous academic year. Any offers on how to remove the offending entries. Your help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I agree with you bobsmith - there is a definite information overload going on, and some of our staff are not technically inclined and want a quick answer. Might try your suggestion about groups of students and see how they go. Cheers.

Evening all .. Is there a way, by not using a marksheet, that a member of staff can view a student's KS2 data. We have admin/pastoral staff who have to report data to agencies but do not necessarily have access to marksheets. By selecting the student, choosing "assessment" from the link panel, not enough info is showing. Should I be ticking in something, somewhere? Help is much appreciated.

Afternoon all. Just sorting out the timetable for September and have noticed that a subject is coming up with the wrong description. It is showing on student timetables as Biology A Level when it should in fact be just "Biology". I've looked through course manager at the basic details but seem to be unable to amend the title. Any ideas? Thanks.
