  2. A member of staff is having error cr20r3 when updating school academic year via the wizard.. not sure why - any suggestions?! Sam
  3. Yeah, setting up full SIMS SQL database.
  4. We are creating a db from scratch and pretty sure sysman account doesn't exist..
  5. Logs into SQL Management Studio fine... definitely has correct permissions. I'll attach screenshots if they will help...
  6. When I put details into the Login screen, it just says 'Invalid Login details' even though I know they are valid...

  8. Hi We are setting up our SIMS SQL Server, and have reached the stage of the SQL server login to the SIMS database. Just wondering what the 'You will need to have been given the permission to 'Configure database' part means - do we need to change permissions in order for login? Can supply pictures if needed. Please shed some light on this..! Sam

  10. Well I am now having problems with logging in on the server... it is a clean install of sims that we may be moving to, and the database has all been set up. The only problem is that the default account for sims (sysman) is not working. How am I supposed to get in.. lol
  11. Still having problems. Changed the .ini file several times and still no hope
  12. I'll try to launch the client with no redirect and a regular connect.ini to our SQL
  13. We use a redirect to a drive with the connect.ini file in that users can access. The drive connect.ini looks the same / similar to that one Sam

  15. Hi Thanks for the quick reply I was able to ping the server and it responded fine. I'll try the other methods in a bit, but what do you mean by logging into sims on the server? Sam
  16. Hi Our new sims system is giving our users error 0 when logging in..? I tried sysman account but still no luck... I though I'd turn here for some info? Sam
