Hi, Was seeing if there is anyone that could help with power shell scripts. I have ad connect enable and want a way that if a staff member is in a security group called staff that they would get the office 365 education for faculty and if a student is in the student group they would get the office 365 education for students licence. i have been having a play but unable to get it to work. Hi MYK-IT, I have been looking at OneDriver Mapper and have got it working to map one drive and 1 sharepoint drive but can not get it to map any more. I.e a Y: say staff but can't get a P: or M: drive to map but if take P: away and change to M: it works. can't get more than one drive to map. I must be doing something wrong in the script. Are you able to help please? Thanks

Hi, I am starting to look at - OneDriveMapper powershell script - OneDriveMapper | Liebensraum I can get the script to map the one drive as home drive and can get it to map a share point drive but i can't get the script to map more than one share point drive. I know the path is correct as if i swap them over they work but will still only map one drive. want the scrip to map a P: M: etc but can only get one drive to map. Seeing if anyone can help? Thanks for the information, i am still in testing at the moment and waiting for Microsoft to give me full version on my 365 for more testing. Have you been setting up and doing all your self? I will look at setting up that sub domain as think want to get all data and staff use to using office 365 before looking at doing the mail if get the go ahead. Would look at doing that in the summer if this works well and get LGFL to put forwarders on the lgflmail.org domain. I am playing around with one drive mapper and have got it mapping home and one share point drive but can't get it to map more than one sharepoint drive. Any help or tips i am doing wrong to map 3 share point drives to letters please? Thanks

Thank you for the information. I am also in the process of looking to migrate my school to O365 mainly for the storage Microsoft give us with back up and more assailable which will save the school money and on local servers and DR. I have been reading everything and just wanted to get something clear in my head as we use LGFL Staffmail and want to carry on using LGFL staff mail - .lgflmail.org domain and also the alias School.sch.uk . Have to have SSO working for the staff too. Can i set up O365 to use the subdomain say 365.school.sch.uk and disable email access on 365 so the staff don't get confused and carry on using LGFL Staffmail. Once then the staff are happy with 365 and sharepoint we could look to maybe mirgrate the email over to 365 but the staff use lgflmail.org as email address which we can't take. Hope that makes sense. So i would use 365.school.sch.uk as the UPN but have email disable. Would that still work? Also can you use the GP and drive mappings to map the sharepoint drive or do you have to use sripts now? Thanks, Thats what i wanted as our AD and AD groups are good and would like to keep that set up as will be easier when setting up the permission. Spent ages sorting AD and AD groups out and ntfs permissions

Thanks we are 4 form but you have more devices than use. Do you get iamclud to sync with your local DC?

Do you also use one drive / share point with this as well? Do you not have a local DC server / AD and print server etc or just use iamcloud? I am looking for a large primary school

So can't use shadow copy then lol. I am new to office 365 and just using it on LGFL at the moment to see if we can use there 365 or if i have to get 365 added to ESS and then not sure how to set up. Trying to research and get my head round it. Wanted to make sure that if someone deletes a file in one drive/share point then it can be restored. Like the idea of the drives getting mapped to.

Thanks just seen that as the min price and not sure if that include drive mapper. Sending them a message for more info. As if can use the Microsoft storage and has file back up and restore features we can then save money on our DR. In one drive and share point if someone deletes a file can you restore from there to?

I saw them at Bett and watching the demo video now. Looking into see how and if possible to make use of the 5TB Microsoft now give us for storage. Not sure on the pricing and how easy it is to add office and one drive and share point for site shares on it instead of local shares.

I have just looked at Iamcloud and was seeing has anyone used this or looked in to this for AD Sync and SSO for Office cloud storage

Good Morning, I was at Bett and speaking to Microsoft and the say with office 365 we now get 5TB of data. I was seeing if any one has set this up using the office 365 from LGFL with one drive, SharePoint and SSO using Ad conncect? OR would i be best using my ESS agreement and set up our own 365 for One drive and sharepoint with was looking at using - Azure Active Directory and DirSync on our local domain so we can then look at using the 5TB of storage Microsoft give us and set. Looking at this option as starting to run out of space and this would also be backed up and have revisions of the documents. Not done it before so any tips or advice greatly appreciated. I know this is an old thread but i have been looking to change edge from default to chrome but had no susses so far. Had left edge as default as everything seemed to work expect when the children go to use Espresso which wont work on edge. I have been on the phone to espresso for most of the morning and they say that it will not work with Edge. Any tips or ideas as no GPO i try seems to want to make IE or Chrome default on windows 10. Thanks for the info. The data should all be there it was just at he start there was a few issue and differences which seem to be sorted now. Its also just some of the HR stuff that the sbm just likes to double check things against the old system for peace of mind due to a few issues. IT would just be nice to be able to keep the old system for historic data on one machine. We havn't had sims upgrades or anything done to it for over a year now so it is just for historic data.
