As for the BBC problem, this was not just a problem with BBC streaming services, it was the same when trying to stream from ITV. Ch4 and Amazon Prime, so clearly not a BBC problem. From the posts above it also seemed to be only affecting schools on certain inlineproxies, in our case inlineproxy14.

Yep, just spotted that and can now get into all of the sites that wouldn't stream. Still get the certificate error on schoolsbroadband's own website though....

Hmm, this appears to be a problem specific to inlineproxy14. Here's a good one for those of you on inlinefilter14, can you get to schoolsbroadband.co.uk without getting a certificate error?

Just to follow up from my post earlier, we are having exactly the same problem with ITV, CH4, Amazon Prime etc, so this does not look to be purely a BBC problem. Can anyone else try a few different sites to test that I am not alone in this please. BBC seem to be suggesting that because traffic is routed via a proxy server they cannot guarantee that the site is UK based despite the IP being registered, which would suggest the issue lies with schoolsbroadband. Just to prove a point, I have an external router in my office to test staff Direct Access connections on their domain joined laptops. If I log on to our domain using this external route, all of the links we are having UK based issues with in school play perfectly, so come on schoolsbroadband, this is almost as big an issue for schools as the recent filtering debacle.

We have had a ticket open with SBB for over a week now and have chased this a few times. Content from iPlayer and BBC Bitesize won't play as the BBC think we are not in the UK, despite whatsmyip showing our IP address as UK based. The bbc.co.uk website redirects to bbc.com and this behaviour has definitely started since the BBC switched to supporting a single domain worldwide. Despite a number of calls to SBB we are getting no feedback as to any progress, thanks to cullingsh suggesting the NOC team are speaking to the BBC to get a resolution as this is another issue affecting T&L and I have nothing from SBB to pass on to SLT.

We are also having similar issues: Intermittent access to the web portal Random filtering of sites Unfiltered access for students We have taken our student wifi down since Tuesday as they had totally unfiltered web access, this now appears to have found it's way to domain joined computers as well.
