Hi guys - has anyone using eSign from Planet eStream been able to get it running on some cheap hardware such as a Pi? maybe another recommendation? We dont want to have several videos on the go at once so dont need to fork out for the pricey dedicated hardware they sell. We have some older Pi's but it seems hard getting it all running due to software versions and I'm searching all over for fixes and leading from 1 issue to another. Wonder if simply getting the latest Pi we'll be fine or if there is an easier route sticking on the cheap path? Cheers

Centrally managing Signatures in Outlook and OWA - the free way
adamj84 commented on TheScarfedOne's blog entry in TheScarfedOne's Blog
Thanks for this Brett I'll get that added now see if I can get that working here. I have had a couple of issues with the signature and wondered if you had any ideas? 1. Some users have found their auto signatures arent the template at all, and that some word doc they have opened at some point is now their signature until I amend the template and it recreates, which I expect. 2. 1 user at the moment has their signature recreate OK 1 time, and then the next time the signature goes to create for any changes, it doesnt pull through their AD creds... the template is there but with the placeholders? all very odd stuff! Thanks, Adam -

Hi guys - this post is awesome! have got the main signature working, need to spend a bit more time to sort the OWA out afterwards but having it all here couldnt be easier! Not all fields are populated in AD, and I would like to put job titles, and DDI's in some signatures, where the data has been input. I am sure it can be done from seeing bits on other places, but how can I set a field name to delete itself if the AD data field is empty? and thus only complete data shows up on end users signatures? Thank you Adam ...Taking a look at the OWA script, I did think that was a replacement for the one up top but doesnt look it? so not sure how to sort the hide empty fields...? -

Pushing/controlling Apps from Win Store - in School
adamj84 replied to adamj84's topic in Windows 10
Until the time comes as to when that system is released, I guess a way to work this temporarily would be to have only 1 Microsoft account, for use with the store, by everyone on the tablets - works on 85? devices I think I heard. So the question would be, is there a way, via gp? that the details or just the username can be saved for each user that logs onto the Surface device?- 9 replies

Hey guys! I'm having a real headache when it comes to setting up a bunch of new Surfaces for our school. I pleased to get them instead of iPads (for ease of setup) and it's not exactly going to plan. I've setup Azure AD - though haven't yet being able to find a 'step-by-step' way of changing the Azure user names to the users email addresses? Anyway, the big, major issue I need help on though, which I am sure most will know all about is the store in Win 10. The devices are to be used by multiple users - not 1:1. So from what I've read in different places is that if we have SCCM (we are licensed but not setup for it yet!) we can push the apps to the devices, but the users need to actually install the apps afterwards. Every, single, user... I can't see our primary school kids doing this..!? Please, I beg, tell me I've missed something, and there is a simple way of installing a set of apps - (not just desktop apps) and having them install for all users on a device? I would have liked the teachers to be able to download and install apps for all users themselves, perhaps to test things before giving me the nod to install on them all? Plead complete. Throw me to the fire. Thanks, Adam

Hi mate - thanks for writing this up, I know it's getting on now, and it's the older Debian version (I tried the newer release but not enough disk space to compete this as you set out originally.. unless you've since updated). I have gotten to stage 19 and alsamixer states command not found... any ideas? followed your instructions word for word... apart from installing freerdp as opposed to xfreerdp as that wasn't available... Thank you! Adam
