I'll end up with both just to compliment my man cave, since my PC can't really be upgraded any more as of now. Screen size isn't a problem since I also house 2 50" TVs and 4 24" Monitors in the cave. More just getting a console for when friends come over. Thinking of putting a PS4 on one, and the Xbone on the other. So that each TV has a dedicated console.

Honestly as of right now, the only thing separating the two - are the controllers. I don't like buying third party addons to consoles. But I can't find a Sony controller that has the thumb stick in the right place.

I don't really know anyone who plays console anymore. So I'm safe in that regard... I think currently I'm going to just get both at this point. I only want a console for Destiny really. PS4 looks nicer... but the thumbsticks are in the wrong place on the controllers.

Oh, I should add the reason for getting a console is purely because I'm finding that I have no more reason to dump cash into my PC due to the fact that I've got a "Pretty decent" rig as of now. I'm probably going to end up with both an XBone and a PS4... but it's just deciding which one first.

Hey guys, So as Christmas is slowly approaching, even as someone who doesn't really partake in the whole festive mess... I like to use it as an excuse to buy myself something that I don't really need. This year I'm picking up a console. However, I can't decide between the Xbox One and the Playstation 4. @Garacesh I think I have like 16 Electrum BLOCKS. Not ingots Just take as much from my chests as you need, as long as at some point you help someone else. I don't mind Just help yourself.

@Garacesh - some of the mods (like Twilight Forest) have an "end" in the sense of bosses to fight but for the most part, mod packs just add an extra area. The ability to build giant, automated refineries... or elaborate storage methods in more compact spaces, or giant mega constructs using decorative blocks. That's the point of Minecraft in its entirety.... there is no "end"... there is just following your imagination with a very very simple, and short "Boss" sequence.

Well, if you made an auto tree-farm. You could then process the wood into Charcoal, which could fuel charcoal engines, which could make your free farm free to run. From this you could increase your engine count to be able to power refineries to give you 2x Ingot per Ore you find and maybe even run a quarry. The thing with mod packs is that everything in it, is mostly quality of life. Getting more from your ores isn't a requirement, but it's a nice addition. Getting a quarry means you don't need to spend hours caving away anymore... etc.

@pcstru Yeah I know they're somewhat different, my main reason for not starting is honestly because I don't have anyone who's interested in it. It's somewhat difficult with the folks I know to find someone who will stick to it for more than just a one weekend kind of thing.

I've always wanted to start badminton. I'm a huge fan of playing Tennis so I imagine Badminton can't be /too/ different.

I loved my IS-7, until they reworked the penetration calculations and brought out tanks that surpass it at brawling in almost every way. Since that I've only really played the T62a, Bc. 25t and various lower tiered variants.

Oh man, I love the ELC AMX, it's an absolute wrecking ball and super easy to get to. The 90mm puts some serious hurt and has no trouble penetrating even in tier 7 games. The downsides are the 13 75 honestly. It's no better than the 12t, except bigger and worse matchmaking. If you can handle that tank, then the BC25t is one of the scariest little tanks in the game. I'll start downloading it tonight and get an account set up. I'm not sure what I'll play quite yet, but I will certainly be playing mediums since I'm not a huge fan of the heavies. I may go down the British mediums since I'm a big fan of the games transition from conventional tanks towards the more modern MBT prototypes.

It makes me sad to see people discussing WoT... since my accounts are all on NA. I have about 5 of varying different levels including one that I use solely for sealclubbing.... it has like 300k Gold which I use JUST to fire my lovely HEAT/APCR in T3-4 battles... oh the tears make it so much fun. EDIT: Forgot to say that if there is an active EU playerbase here on EDU, I might make an account over there and start again, again, again. Though the low tier grinding makes me nervous. What do you active PC players focus on? Heavy/Medium/Light? Since I'm relatively experienced in all of them, I could fill a nice little window as a scout/flanker if needed
