Morning, We have just deployed Apple TV's across the site. These are predominantly plugged into Epson X49 projectors which provide an acceptable image quality for classrooms. When setting up the projectors, we focused the image for maximum size to fit the projection board, and this works fine when plugging in Windows 11 laptops with HDMI. When we switch the input to the Apple TV, the image size reduces dramatically and shows the Mac screen but much smaller than what we would expect. What would be the best way to change the image size for the Apple TV, either a setting on the ATV itself or something on the projector? Many thanks Steve

Morning, We have previously been using Nvidia GT710 graphics cards in our desktops as a cheap card for basic office functions and the odd bit of Photoshop. These cards seem to be all but depleted and the next jump up seems overkill. Can anyone recommend something to fill the void without costing an arm and a leg? Many thanks Steve

Hello, I have inherited a door access control system which unlocks a cupboard at the Academy. The keypad has been running since mid 2000's we believe and the students have now worked out the code. Without finding out what system it is I'm struggling to find out how to reprogram it. We used to have an Actwin pro system and this was always separate from this and does not have any network running to it or any identifiable markings. Any help gladfully received. Thanks Steve

Hello, I'm a technician in an Academy in Cornwall. Would anyone have any experience in an app or software that will allow for the recording of clubs that staff can access to see who has signed up for what? We can do similar with a shared excel/google sheet but we would like something that is a bit more interesting... Many thanks Steve

Hello, I am investigating Library systems to be used in a small secondary school. We previously had a full-time Librarian who maintained an effective Alice system. The Library was then closed and the Librarian made redundant. A small selection of books have been relocated to a classroom which we are turning into a Library style resource room over the summer. Are there any 'simple' library systems that any of you use that can be maintained by students (with supervision) so they can check the books in and out themselves. Many thanks for any suggestions. Thanks for the reply, and in terms of equipment, what do you run it from? A PC connected to Internet enabled TV's or amazon Firesticks etc or is there a master device that controls all the screens.

Hi all, I'm looking at a project to refresh a school hall projector system. The projector was installed 10 years ago and is quite a hefty unit but slowly the bulb is diminishing and I feel it is time to overhaul. The projected image needs to fill an 8ftx8ft (2.4m x 2.4m) electric white screen and be a decent brightness. Of course, projector throw comes in to play too as we would like to fit the projector to the original location (although not essential as we could remount if necessary - just trying to keep labour costs down on the project). Any suggestions on suitable models would be most wlecomed. Kind regards Steve

Hi all, I have a member of staffs' iPhone 6 in the office that I'm trying to get connected to the Internet via our wireless network. The wireless settings can be entered successfully and a connection is made to the access point however when I enter the proxy details they never save. Each time the details are entered when returning to the wireless network settings tab the proxy is set to 'none'. I have performed the same procedure to 100's of Apple devices but this is the newest device on campus. Anyone got any advice on how to remedy this error? Thanks Steve
