we have on-premises we use there idex directory to sync the AD they currently dont log in to the ipads. the ipads are currently unathenticated device on smoothwall, only seen as ip address all ipads use one apple id. we have 16 ipads for students to use around the school and 32 ipads for staff use

im not sure if im correct on this, all our ipads use one Apple ID. Is there a way to get the students to SSO through the browser, as these iPads are used all across the school by different students they swap classes 2-3 times a day

how do i set this up for shared ipads

iv tried this we are using mosyle. everytime i try we get invalid smoothwall config. im not sure if we are ment to use MS tenant id or smoothwall but i cant find one under account info or see any tab saying Tenant Management <dict> <key>SmoothwallSerialNumber</key> <string>*************</string> <key>SmoothwallTenantID</key> <string>microsoft tent id </string> <key>SSOProvider</key> <string>Microsoftk</string> </dict>

we have recently moved over to smoothwall. currently all ipads are talking to smoothwall but they are not authenticated ie smoothwall sees them as unathnticated devices. On our old system we would setup the configure proxy on the ipads and add the user details in there. but this dosnt seam to be working for smoothwall so how do we authenticate who is using the ipads so they get the right policy and for reporting. i have tried using the smoothwall browser but there instrustions dont help just keep getting errors any help please

A few users have reported this issue where Word or PowerPoint is refusing to save the file or to our file server. They have rights to the files and the destination, as you can see all files and see the folder being updated. The only fix we can find is closing the whole application down, which leads to lost work and they regain permission

dose anyone know the url list for the seeing AI. cant find any information a student requiers the use of the app and its functions

offline files switched of due to laptops are a shared resources. we have shadow coppy on the redireations, nothing is stored localy

we have a handfull of studnets who are exsprinceing this issue on the laptops when they losse network acceess brefly and reconnect they losse access to all the redidrations . you get a messges saying theis folder may have been moved or deleted. only way to get around this is to do a restart , gpupdate or gpupdate /force dosen't work only a reboot which menas they loss work

when trying to first sign in to Microsoft teams on the iPad we get sign in error with proxy turned on. i cant find the URL that's stopping the first sign on faze. if we disable the proxy and allow the initial login then re turn on the proxy , Sophos doesn't block the app
