    Lock apple sidebar

No i didn't. I exported it from the location of the plist and then uploaded to Profile Manager where i could change the settings on it from there.

    Lock apple sidebar

Hi, I've now got all things on my mac side of the network setup, time machine, AD and that sort of things from profile manager. The only issue I've got it com.apple.sidebar.plist ... i've set on a user how i want all the macs too look like on the sidebar by hiding all the shared items on the network. I've then exported it to profile manager by uploading it in the custom payloads, I've then gone into the plist on profile manager and disabled the certain things i want removing like Servers, back to my mac and etc. On the macs it gets downloaded by the profile which i can see in System Preferences but not applied. Am i doing something wrong ? Thanks, Awebb08
  3. Just to be cheeky... any chance you have a script it could have a look at @davidacland? Thanks, Awebb08
  4. Hi, I'm hoping someone could help me! I'm putting 20 macs on our windows network. I've setup mac server and works fine along with Policy manager. My issue is... I've joined the macs to the domain and they are happily communicating with Policy Manager. When i joined them i did force the home to startup disk as this then let us use some scripts when the unticking didn't. Is there a way of redirecting the documents, music and etc folders on mac to save on the network home drive for the user ? IE when the user saves to documents on the mac it saves it to the My Documents folder windows created ? and not allowing the user save to the mac HDD ? Awebb08
