Our PE and Games department have to regularly record activities for the OCR exam board, they also do some videos for teaching purposes. At present we use a couple of hand held cameras to record the activities and the IT department are then get given task of editing the video into segments using Windows Movie Maker. I was wondering how other schools recorded PE/ Games activities and whether their teachers did the recording and editing or whether they passed this off to the IT department . It would be useful to know whether video cameras, tablets or other devices are used and the associated video editing software. What we would like to do is to purchase a easy to use hardware/ software solution which would allow us to pass back the responsibility (including editing) to the PE/ Games department. Thanks

We have two Lapsafe trollies which are surplus to requirements. They are about 10 years old and are in average condition (see photos). One comes with a key and the other doesn’t. Both trollies are free, all we request is you arrange a weekday collection from The Cardinal Memorial School, 89 Addison Road, London, W14 8BZ between 08:00 and 17:00. Both trollies are provided 'as seen' on a first come first served basis. Reply to this thread if intersted.

The are now known as TSI World and their website is TSI World - ICT in Education. Their MD is one of the former Tribune directors Graeme Bower so there is no possibility that the company will be any better than Tribune.
