Hi - The bin file get installed on the ASA then you download and install the ASDM from the ASA (different from the OS of the ASA). Do you know if it was done by you predecessor? if not to check open a web browser type https://(ip of ASA)/admin and see if you get a page to run the ASDM on the ASA or install locally. Im not a 100% on how to install the bin on the ASA but i think there is enough articles online. John
