To clarify it works via the USB alone (I don't see any other cables anyway) -so it is being powered by USB alone- my Q is that I want to get a long USB extension cable - and need to know if a 30 foot cord will work (i.e. how much power does the board need). OR if someone an send a link to a 30ft cord that they use thx

how long have the cables been that you've used?

I don't see any spot on it for a power plug/adapter. Also - I plugged the laptop I via just the USB cable and it seemed to work fine.

I have an ActivBoard 300 Product code. Abv387s300 Serial#. C1005140692 attached to a laptop.
