I am having problems with the proxy connections on a school network. The client machines have had their system proxy settings disabled and are using the internal proxy settings on the browser. This seems to be working fine on the client machines but when trying to use this method on my admin computer it doesn't work. I have tried using the system proxies but no luck. In terms of other connection it is all working, access to shared drives is working and the network is good for all other machines. I have looked into the about:config settings in Firefox but as I am not too sure about these settings I didn't want to mess it up. any ideas that would help with problem would be great.
