A bitter irony; the developers would just sit back... Laughing at how silly it is... While collecting money from players who spent their hard-earn cash to blow each other up. Just trying out the game, observing and checking out how the developers these days swindle money from the public through cheap, browser games. Didn't spend a dime on it, and never am I going to do it. By the way, there is another such scheme called Delta Wars. It just so wanna make me laugh about it too.
