Does anyone know whether it will affect the Year Group within SIMS if you admit students before the start of the new academic year? i.e. they are showing as Year 7s now in the pre-admission group; if admitted now (albeit with an admission date of 6th September) will that mean that when the new year rolls over, they will become Year 8s, incorrectly? Any help is hugely appreciated. Rich.

Thanks for posting the reply from Capita. That makes sense. We don't use the analysis part of SIMS too much for exam results, as I rely on SISRA but it is very much worth knowing.

Sorry for being thick with this but how do you know that gradesets have incorrect values? Is there a report to run or anything like that? Thanks, Rich.
