The Gradeset (eg JC 3) is defined within the Basedata. This defines the Grade only – not the points values.
In this example, JC 3 is used for the BTEC Level 2 Diploma as well as the Certificate (and also by other qualifications). We can only apply one set of values to the Grade Set, so the values will be wrong for all but one of the qualifications.
However, in Edit PI and Examinations Organiser the PI calculations are based on the correct points as the points are the points are brought through via the Performance Measures which uses the QAN to identify the award. If you want to use the Results in calculations in Assessment Marksheets, you will need to create a Grade Set and Aspect and copy the results over.
Whilst the Basedata has the incorrect points for JC21 the Edit Pi will use the correct points as PI calculations are based on the points that are brought through via the Performance Measures which uses the QAN to identify the award. We would therefore advise to create new aspects in assessment Manager with the correct grade set and copy the results over. They then need to use these aspects for calculation.
