Got to this today, plugged it all in powered up and hey presto it was all working. Will have to see how it goes till I go back to the site next week. Thanks for all your help. cheers.

Hi, Sorry yes meant going through device manager and doing the update driver. Am getting yellow exclamation mark next to the device in device manager aswell as error code 10. Its windows 7 x32, no usb extenders and there is a red cross through the icon in system tray. I'm not actually at the site where the board is, will be there tomorrow morning. But any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Hi, I am trying to get a windows 7 laptop to connect to an activboard. I have installed via the setup file and gone in manually to configure the install that way but I am having no joy. The driver is the latest from Promethean website. Anyone any suggestions please? Cheers.
