  1. got to love open source https://github.com/bombadil/mod_proxy_msrpc this is the mod that fixes that for you.
  2. There is no harm setting up Mysql, just double check that ports in use do not overlap.
  3. both ways can work fine, unixman_again is correct in that the Joomla support will be better with MySQL. i tend to prefer MsSql due how much i use it on daily basis and easy of backup setup i have. i wish you luck ether way.
  4. Try setting up php with this IIS and PHP Setup - The Easy Way On Windows Server 2012 With Web Platform Installer - ESX Virtualization It saved my going though all the documents
  5. Hi, The following are good for small setups: Cloud Options: > Software Phone + head sets and a hosted VoIP provider such Gradwell or any good hosted > Snom 300 Phones around (50-70 pounds) + VoIP Provider in cloud. Onsite Options: > Avaya IP Office 500 + Phones + SIP Trunks (expensive but never had one fail) > Asterix + Phones + Sip Trunks (cheaper, works well if hardware is good and requires more setup) Points to look out for: > Firewall SiP ALG issues, most good firewalls will try to "fix" sip, you will need to make sure that ALG options are off or you have good support with vendor.
  6. Allows for follow me printing which is great
  7. You could also go the open source route with something like below: Unified Communications with Microsoft: Configuring Apache as a Reverse Proxy for Lync Server
  8. There are number of options depending how much work you want to: > Sonicwall > Smothwall > untangle Gateway Add 2012 proxying to above where needed
