  1. so you have the (share) permissions to "Everyone" Read/Write AND the (security) permissions to as they are in the picture? Are you sure they're not in any other groups that may affect permissions? Like i have a "students" group and "2013" group.
  2. Thanks bmdixon... that works! That's what I've been looking for. I'm sure many others can use that answer! My Students group with those (picture) permissions, worked like a champ. Just need the following checked. Traverse Folder / Execute File, Read Attributes, Create Files / Write Data, Create Folders / Append Data, Write Attributes, Read Permissions... have fun!
  3. I'm running server 2003 and placing the permissions for "write" (only) on the dropbox folder for my students security group. My clients are running win xp pro. The share permissions are "everyone" full control. It doesn't work. they get the error message: Cannot copy "filename": The operation completed successfully. I've tried right clicking and pasting the file too... I know it shouldn't be this complicated. Has anyone figured it out yet? Thanks
