Right, I've found out that if i click on a link to our HAP site (from our website, or from the previous page on this thread for example), the login page displays with the arrow, but if i click the link from my IE favourites, or type it in manually then the arror doesn't show. Any ideas Nick?

Added these 3 mime type to the HAP directory within IIS but no arrow displays in IE9 - also done IISReset and cleared browser cache just in case...?
-
One query you might be able to clear up for me is why the arrow next to the log-in button doesn't render when using IE9 - it works fine on my ipad, and also fine using chrome on the same laptop. Have attached screenshot. Cheers Nick.

Thanks Nick, that fixed the refresh issue. Everything else seems to work fine. I have used my orginial v7.10 hapconfig.xml file which seems to have worked fine. :-)

Hi Nick, here is a screenshot of my refresh issue. Our site link is https://folders.kingswood-pri.northants.sch.uk/HAP

Hi Nick, Just to check that I've done it right.... On codeplex it said: To upgrade from a previous version, delete everything but your AppData folder, extract all but the AppData folder and run your HAP+ install I took this to mean that after deleting and extracting everything from the zip except the AppData folder, i just navigate to the web address as normal. Or does 'run your HAP+ install' mean something else?

+1 with the refreshing thing. I haven't been able to get past this and get to a point where I can log in so can't comment on the other issues in the above post.

Not sure where 'upscale' came from. Must have been stupid predictive text on my phone! The company we get our certificates from is called ipsCA.
-
We used upscale, which offer free 2 year education certificates. Just renewed again for free for another 2 years.

That'll be why then! Cheers for the update :-)

Hi Nick, Have updated to v7.10 and am trying out the MyFiles. In firefox and chrome I can drag and drop files from a local folder to the network drives without a problem. However, when i use IE9, it just seems to open the file and won't upload to the folder i'm dragging it to... Any ideas? Cheers, Andy

Just tried ~/myfiles in Firefox on my Windows 7 laptop. This is the firebug info. Am getting the following error message: SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character This comes up as soon as i navigate to ~/myfiles. Don't have to click anything to get the error message.

I've now tried a completely fresh install using the full 7.6 zip - including deleting all IIS stuff and starting from scratch. I'm still not able to see anything when going to ~/myfiles, but i've got this error message in IE8 from our FRDC. Does this help? Webpage error details User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.2; Trident/4.0; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET4.0C; .NET4.0E) Timestamp: Tue, 1 Nov 2011 20:17:48 UTC Message: 'console' is undefined Line: 139 Char: 4 Code: 0 URI: https://folders.kingswood-pri.northants.sch.uk/HAP/myfiles/ Message: 'console' is undefined Line: 139 Char: 4 Code: 0 URI: https://folders.kingswood-pri.northants.sch.uk/HAP/myfiles/

When i receive any emails from staff via the helpdesk, they all have the staff members name at the end, but when I update any emails they have my username and not my name at the bottom. Is it possible to change this without too much hassle? Cheers, Andy -

Hi Nick, from the console tab: All / Errors / Warnings / Info / Debug Info - all tabs blank There is some info from the Net tab. Do you want me to upload some screengrabs?
-
Oh well. Have done a completly fresh install including repopulating the setup.aspx but it didn't do anything. Will check through the IIS install video tomorrow to see if anything is not quite right. Hopefully something might jump out! Andy

Still no joy I'm afraid. Getting the following error message when in 'myfiles' on firefox SyntaxError: JSON.parse Have attached a screengrab when running firebug

Just to test it Nick, I've downloaded the full 7.5 zip from the codeplex, deleted everything from within my hap folder and replaced with the extracted zip. copied my hapconfig.xml across so the info is populated, but still got the same issue with rotating red arrows when clicking on 'my drives'. https://folders.kingswood-pri.northants.sch.uk/HAP/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fHAP%2f&error=timeout Thats the web address that is being returned, if thats any help EDIT: Same login problem in IE9, Chrome & FF
-
Think that broke it! Can't get passed the login screen now. Just keeps looping back every time I enter my username and password.

Here's an error message in firefox and the firebug console. Sorry, being brain dead...check for a token cookie??
-
Have just tried it in Google Chrome and got this error message: Will check with firebug and post details later.
-
Proxy server's being a pain. Will download firebug when I get home and try it. Is the plugin just called 'firebug' because I saw a few when I did a search?
-
No change I'm afraid - plan b??
