  1. Hi Jmak, Please reach out to Lightspeed Support as we may be able to assist you with this query. If you are not an SEU for the school please have them contact us so that you can get added and are able to receive support. Alternatively you can review our documentation on the community site: Differentiated YouTube access via GaFE console | Lightspeed Systems Community Site If you need any more information please PM me. Thanks
  2. Hi TronXP, The reason that you are not getting the block page back while accessing HTTPS sites is that you are using the rocket inline rather than a proxy. To get a block page returned you will need to use Lightspeed as a proxy. No inline filter not acting as trusted Mitm proxy can redirect encrypted traffic otherwise stealing bank details would be a breeze If you need any help doing this or would like to discuss further then please PM me. Thanks
  3. Hi Sam, I see there was a comment from Schools Broadband regarding Fortinet. I wanted to let you know that in addition they can provide web filtering, MDM and a VLE. They just recently won Best Business use of Cloud: Schools Broadband wins Best Business Use of Cloud at the 2014 ISPA Awards | Motor E magazine Thanks Ken
  4. Hi, I will direct message you now to get more details. Thanks
  5. Hi Synaesthesia, The Lightspeed integration with SIMS is for the purpose of synchronising teacher and student information such as who is teaching what class and who is enrolled in each class. This information is managed in SIMS and Lightspeed is updated from SIMS in order to place students into the correct collaborative group for each class and ensure the teacher is the administrator of the class group. While this is not the only example of how Lightspeed uses the information from SIMS, Lightspeed does not pull information about attendance or behaviour from SIMS and does not push behaviour information such as a user's web activity back into SIMS. Information from both SIMS and Lightspeed can be used to show OFSTEAD or another governing or regulatory body that a school has robust pastoral care, safeguarding and behaviour management practices. Thanks Ken
