Nope, even on my pc where they havent logged onto before it's doing the same thing, logging on with a temporary profile. i think im going to copy their work folder somewhere, and try to delete account and start from scratch, they leave this term anyway, so even if i have to set them up a different account for them to use it'll do the job. It's just very frustrating this isnt working!

point away, i have given it a reboot though yes. i just logged on locally and the key isnt there now though (even tho it was under my Domain logon, weird)

Turns out the key wont delete, just says there's an error deleting key...

does delprof automatically do the reg key aswell?

There's no folder, event vwr on the machine shows user profile service errors event ids 1511 and 1521

Looking into it, it hasnt even recreated a v2 folder at all....

Not to my knowledge, i asked them half hour ago if they were logged on anywhere and they said no, and i had mentioned for them not to try to logon anywhere... should i delete their profile folder completely? rather than just the .v2 one?

Hasn't seemed to work, still logging on with a temporary profile :/ I... 1) deleted their user folder off the Local Machine 2) deleted their username.v2 folder 3) deleted the entire reg key for their user id on the same local machine as step 1 4) logged on as them on that machine....

Assuming their profile folder is just the .v2 one? not all of it (not that i guess it matters, we dont have xp here now)....

That's fine, i might save this forum in my bookmarks! This could be a lifesaver (i dont currently have access to a pc with their profile on, the other two in this room are in use, and no one else uses mine) so will try when i get a chance. Thanks.

One of our users profiles has become corrupted. I have seen before somewhere about deleting their profile along with a registry key, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Anyone able to shed any light? Thanks in advance.

running a check disk on our NAS through it's web interface now... the webinterface seemed really slow (not that i've gone on it before, was set up by someone else and it's been happy as larry) just as i wrote this, it said operation succesfully completed, only took 10 minutes....but there's no results page that i can see... the web interface seems much quicker now and it seems much quicker to access the drive through my computer and view its properties etc... check seems to have done the trick maybe...will run another backup tonight. Ta.

I played Shenmue 2 on the original xbox, not played first one and it's far too expensive for me to justify buying for my dreamcast.

I am rebooting tonight, and is that fragmentation/disk check of the server or the external HDD?

One of our backups has suddenly decided it wants to take 24 hours + to do a backup, it's being backed up to an external drive, ~400Gb of data (which isn't much/noticably higher than usual), it used to be completed by about 3-4 in the morning, so about 7 hours. Any ideas where to start with this? Thanks

Okay, went slightly overboard, bought revelations, brotherhood, creed III, Darksiders (which is nothing like i expected it to be) aaaand Nintendo Land for the Wii U. It's scary how cheap some of the older ps3 titles are now, at CEX, revelations is 2.50 and brotherhood is 2.00.

That's how i have played Windwaker HD, without issue (but i suppose that's a proper wii u game) Still, its a cool piece of kit. i have almost completed creed 2, going to go to city tonight and buy Brotherhood and Revelations me thinks.

i do currently have a psplus subscription, so stuff does go to the cloud, i don't know how much.... sounds like a right pain, i dont have a spare ps3 knocking about lol.

anyone got any good calf stretches? still have issues with my ankle (and it related to my calfs being tight) and my calfs have felt very tight today and yesterday...

hi all looking to upgrade the HDD in my ps3, anyone gone about doing this before? How easy was it? Does the backup before back everything as you'd expect (game downloads, add ons etcetc)? Is there a specific HDD i should look to buy? How long does the entire process take? Thanks in Advance.
