Pokemons update :

I find the openness of people playing it a positive than a negative. Let's be honest it's quite a hard game to not look like it's obvious you're playing to others in the know. Should be embraced.

You get the curveball regardless of throwing it inside the circle or not. you get the 10xp for a curveball, and a "great" or "nice" throw get you even more xp (thats throwing a ball, curve or not, into the circle) The smaller the circle, the higher your chance of catching the pokemon (if you get it to land in the circle) So you have to weigh up how small you can get the circle AND STILL get the ball to hit it.

Similar, live in a new part of the village. I get the odd pokemon appearing on a corner every few hours, other than that nothing unless i leave the house. There's 3 gyms in the village, one has a ~900 Vaporeon. Jealous.

My friend says he does it to retain pokeballs, maybe its to do with the lag? Going around the village last night was surreal, so many people were out playing it, got into conversations with at least 3 random people about it was we were going round (including a Dad going around with his ~4YO Son. He was just like.... "so everyone's doing this, right?" and showed us he was playing it. The son was loving it, managed to catch something when we were about, too. Unfortunately when i placed a lure the game started playing up, so didn't have a big descent of players like i was hoping.

Yeah, I had a lot of game crashing last night. (especially when catching pokemons) Annoying none of the pokestops near me have anywhere particularly suitable to sit. Going out tonight for an hour or too though, and two of us have lures to use. Shall see what happens.

Just popped out, my level 3 work colleague just picked up a chansey first go, i threw 2 pokeballs and then it ran away (both times the ball got 2 shakes) GRR!

Tried that numerous times, would not work, needed to add a card, and if i didn't, when i went to download it it said i had to be on the UK store. @Garacesh I can get away with it as i t didn't work? ha

just tap the screen as fast as you can and when the blue bars below health are filled up, you can do your special attack (by holding down a press) , dodging does help to a certain degree i find. What @Garacesh said.

Hmm, did you manage to get it through the app store then? I had to do another workaround that didn't use the App Store (which we cant discuss on the thread)

Found this out yesterday trying to put my pokemon on an empty gym. Then it crashed, and by the time it came back for me someone had already got it! I saw them go to it aswell, was so annoying!

App is officially available in Germany now. God damn it.

My mistake. Woke up at 7.45 and rushed to get ready and into work, and there's no coffee!!!

Surely no ones managed it yet? 400 Candies means youd have to catch around 100 of them. I only got mine through an egg. ALSO Has anyone seen a correlation between XS and XL weight yet? In my limited knowledge I think heavier pokemon gain more CP when they evolve....
