We seem to have an issue with roaming profiles within our school. When a teacher logs in they can only open one PowerPoint presentation at a time, this seemed to be an issue with smart ink (Smart Technologies) as it would flash up an error message about access being denied, this would usually be because the profile had loaded up incorrectly e.g. j.smith. rather than j.smith, to fix the problem the ntuser files would need to be removed from the users profile and the local cached profile removed, However no cached profile is visible in either advanced system settings or the registry, The folder remains in c:users. If we just delete the ntuser files from the profile.v2 folder on the server, the teacher is able to open more than one PowerPoint after logging back in, however the next day the same thing again. There is no policy in place to delete cached profiles. Any help with this would be very much appreciated.
