  1. Have you looked for a newer trackpad driver ? I know I spotted a issues like this on a few products back in the early life-cycle of product testing when I was working back at the RM coalface (god bless her and all who sailed in her). Synaptics were the worse culprits iirc. In fact - I've just googled it and found this..... Mouse Cursor Behaves Erratically - Lenovo Support (US) - Not exactly the same hardware - but sounds suspiciously similar to the issues you are experiencing !!
  2. Oh, and if anyone wants one of the ferrite beads to try out I have 4 left, I had to buy 5 ! Just drop me an email via [email protected] and I'll stick one in the post.
  3. Mine went pop last year, turned out it was a Ferrite Bead on the DC input side of the mainboard. RS Part Number is 749-8328P. Repaired and as good as new now.
  4. Network boot on the Iconia W510 Tablet May help, as others have mentioned, it's very picky about the USB > Ethernet Dongle used.
