Have you tried adding 5228 as an additional web port?

Your LA will need to add the school to the rule for 'Connect for Chromebooks' as a general rule of thumb. There does appear to be further issues this past week or so for locations already in this rule, but I am not sure what the issue is or how I can resolve this. I am hoping for some guidance on this. Exempting the red websites doesn't resolve the problem but disabling D&I does.

Howdy!! Are any Smoothwall schools experiencing issues recently with Google Applications and Services? For example Google Drive and signing into Chromebooks? It appears to be decrypt and inspect or interception certificate related and possible due to a change at the Google end. TIA.

For Windows devices we use Open VPN from the Open VPN web site rather than the Smoothwall package. For iOS devices we use TunnelBlick. Both seem to work for us.
