Hi Bob Thanks A particular example in Y13 is that we running Performing Art BTEC. Most students are doing a Sub-Diploma but 1 student is doing a Diploma (Double award). We capture assessment grades as fine so D*2, M1, P3 etc. I am just being lazy not building a grade set to cover all possible permutations of the double grades and instead have 2 columns in the marksheets that capture a grade for single and a grade for double element so for a Diploma student they could have M3 and M3. I manually edit the report to show a double award of M3 M3. When uploading to SISRA Analytics I manually edit the grade to MM So to answer your questions 1. Yes, I have considered a double grade Aspect but 1 the permutations of possible grades are complex and 2 I think it will confuse the teachers. At the mo they have 1 marksheet for the whole P.A class. The Diploma student attends all these lesson so is on the single PA class register and class marksheet 2. Kind of I capture 2 single format grades - one for the single award and the second for the double award and manually edit the report to show as a double format award. I also manually edit grades before loading to SISRA The number of these occurrences does not make it a big deal but if I upload a report for this student it will show only the single PA award (not Diploma) Thanks Graham

Wouldn't have posted a thread if it was that simple I also don't believe the types are editable We are not using SLG but using TASC Software's INSIGHT which works well for Parent's evening bookings I think that INSIGHT is looking for type AM Individual Report but will upload a General type document and see if I can get it to show The thing is that most reports of type AM Individual Report are correct and display OK. There are a small handful that need a grade edit eg student sitting a double award but in the same class as single award students Will have a play Thanks Graham

Thanks Bob. Not quite as simple as that I'm afraid. The uploaded document is created as an XML Word doc with Type AM Individual Report. I can only select View and it opens in Read Only. I can save the read only version as a new document and then edit it but I can't upload a New document with Type = AM Individual Report. Only choices available are General Document, SEN Full Description or Student Medical. Am I missing something obvious?

Hi We create student progress reports using SIMS Assessment Manager Individual Reports. To provide parents with online access these are uploaded and become linked documents to the students record There is a small handful of reports that I need to manually edit. Many thanks SouthCoastSaint I have managed to resolve the issue by unassigning classes from another marksheet template (no longer used). Would you happen know what the limit is? No sure the tab is customizable. Logged on teachers PC and it didn't allow changes. Thanks

Hi I have created some class profiles for teachers to enter assessment grades directly into SIMS. Teachers can access them through their register and tabs are shown above eg Take Register, Marksheet and Class profile However for some teachers some classes appear and other are not appearing. eg Year 12 Maths appears OK on the take reguster list for that class but Year 11 does not All the marksheets are accessible in Focus > Assessment > Marksheet Entry. What defines the tabs that a teacher can see in Take register ? How can I update them to show Any help appreciated Thanks

I will look at how to set date changes for next SIMS import. re PDF option, good to hear it is coming in Spring Release which according to a seminar I attended today we should get early next week Thx for your help TheCountG

We are using Individual Reports to create Progress report grade sheets - Subject, Current Grade, Previous Grade, Target, Attitude to Learning & Class Teacher We are using the Class Teacher field & selecting the appropriate course from Course Manager but some teacher names do not appear The subjects were we have had a change in staff since start of school year seem to be the cause Anyone advise how I can get the current teacher (as shown on timetable) coming through on the Individual report Additional when exported SIMS creates individual xml doc files. Is there any way the export can be PDF files or is there a simple batch conversion option Thanks Graham

Is it possible - and if so how - to add additional fields to Additional Student Information so they can be appear as extra options that can be added to SIMS Assessment marksheets For example I need to build a marksheet with % Attendance & Number of Detentions since start of school year. % attendance is already available but # of Detentions is not. We are using Behaviour Management module so the data is recorded in SIMS - albeit not in Assessment Manager. I would prefer if possible to link to the data entered in Behaviour management than to create a new aspect for # DTs & exports the data (using report\ from Behaviour Management before importing into marksheet Will User Defined fields help and can I link to Behaviour Management data table ? Any help appreciated Graham
