  1. Does anybody have any experience of Teamsite Calendar Sync with Office 365 for Education? For us we use shared calendars from a shared mailbox for our IT Room bookings so we're keen to investigate! Thanks
  2. Hi all, Recently migrated to a new remotely hosted Lightspeed filtering package, which has been great but very different. Most notably, the authentication page for unknown users (teacher laptops, iPads, iPhones, Samsung Tablets etc) is becoming disliked quite quickly. I've got the time set to a maximum of 1440 minutes before expiring, but many have been asking whether this can be totally removed for devices that are known and regularly used. Workgroup laptops, and one workgroup computer, are only used by a single user and so only need to pick up the staff filtering policy. Is there an easy way to do this with the Lightspeed User Agent? Or am I missing something relatively simple with the Lightspeed Rocket console? Thanks in advance, M
  3. Unfortunately this hasn't solved the problem. I could find the hole in the board where the switch is meant to be, but there's nothing down it! Fingers crossed my spare ones aren't dead....
  4. Sorry for being so slow to reply, point and print has been configured correctly and whilst some issues are going it doesn't always work. Having just as much fun with "Delete all shared printer connections" now, itself only working for slightly higher privileged users (ie staff) but causes chaos for students.
  5. Sorry to resurrect an old post, I'm having a similar problem now with a new bulb in the XE-40. I know the projector remote code is good, because there are of course no power buttons on these projectors. Power button turns from red to green, and then the projector makes some fan noises as normal on startup. However the bulb never lights, and then after a while the projector gives up and flashes red whilst in the shutdown fan sequence. You can keep trying this, but it does the same every single time. Any ideas?
  6. Hi all, I'm getting an error in event viewer on several computers, however it only appears when a student logs in. The log says: The user 'ICTPrinter' preference item in the 'Printers {056EAFE6-C66E-4575-AA45-A0B9803B83FF}' Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x8007007a The data area passed to a system call is too small.' This error was suppressed. Has anybody come across a similar issue? How did you go about solving it? Thanks in advance. We're using Server 2008 R2 print server, and two 2008 R2 domain controllers along with Win 7 32bit clients.
