  1. What I meant was, did you have any servers that were domain controllers recent fail and no longer exist in the environment. Also, have their been DC demotions/removal?
  2. Have you had any domain controller failures?
  3. I would try installing Windows Server Backup Features and seeing if that clears up the issue with this error.
  4. It sounds like it is a mail client caching issue. I would flush the address cache on the client.
