Claremont High School Academy is an 11-18 mixed, multi-ethnic, outstanding Convertor Academy situated in the North West London Borough of Brent bordering Harrow. The school is oversubscribed with 1500 pupils on roll including 350 in the 6th Form and the school achieved ‘Outstanding’ in the Ofsted inspection of May 2010. Pupils are mainly drawn from the Kenton area and the school serves as the local community comprehensive. We are a very successful school with a full range of abilities (2012 – 5 GCSEs A*-C pass rate 96% - 82% including English and Maths).
At Claremont High School Academy, we want to develop our virtual learning environment (VLE) to meet the needs of our school community. We are looking for someone who can help us achieve this. The post is new and comes at an exciting time of development and expansion of IT to support learning. We will be using Frog OS as our VLE and full training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
This post may suit a graduate looking to begin their career or a degree student on a sandwich course.
