  1. My advice due to cost, support etc etc, get an All in One Laserjet, (Colour if you want, but more costly due to more toner).
  2. Hello, I hope everyone is well, and enjoying the new(ish) school year. Please help, I am after a replacement keyboard for a RM nbook 4150. RM have discontinued the model and range. The part number I need is 1CP-473
  3. We have still not got any closer to an answer. RM?Ranger are trying but as we only use Ranger for the security control, and NOT the user environment, things are progressing slowly. As part of the trouble shooting RM removed all our security controls, and without telling us, did not put them back. Came into work on Monday to find all my Windows XP clients, moaning about the computers not working. Worrying thing, we fixed this sub issue and advised RM, but we do not have any confidence that RM/Ranger will resolve our first issue!?! To be fair, if they do, will update this post.
  4. Yes we do. Waiting for a call from the "Support" desk now....still....
  5. Hello, No we setup the GPO from fresh on the DC. It looks like RANGER IS doing something funny.
  6. Hello, We are using a MS Win2008R2 back office, and Windows 7 for our clients. We use Ranger for basic controls such as monitoring PC's, and auto turning them off. We do not use any of the RANGER user or environment controls. We deploy are controls and settings via GPO. We have a GPO that redirects the My Doc's and this all works. With the policy the start menu is config'ed to show User pciture, Documents linked to GPO redirected Folder, Pictures and Music ( all working). And then Computer, Control Panel, Devices and Printers The moment we install and run Ranger with a pupil account with the policy on a machine, Ranger kills the start menu leaving the user picture, Computer, Control Panel, Devices and Printers. if you uninstall Ranger from the client (RangerRemove), reboot and then log back as the pupil with the GPO controls, the computer stills displays the startmenu and desktop as if Ranger is installed. ie broken. Has anyone found this, or know how to resolve.
