After my own experience I can only suggest that you do not go for talk talk.
Short(ish) not very detailed version (This was about a year or so ago now): I won't have any dealings with them -or any company in the carphone warehouse umbrella, such was my annoyance- after they signed us up for their landline service after talking to my wife (the phone bill is in my name, as was the onetel/talk talk account we had at the time) while I was out - at no point did my other half say we wanted their service just that it "sounded interesting" but "We'd want to know the full terms and conditions before considering".
When we received a letter in the post a few days later from BT saying "Sorry you're leaving" and one from talk talk welcoming us, my dear wife called them again to ask what was going on, and to stop it at once - only to be told "Your name is not on the account so you cannot make any changes." Hmm.
So, I called to cancel this, and got attitude from the chap I spoke with which really annoyed me to the extent I cancelled everything I had with them and told them to never contact us again.
I'm sure that other people have had perfectly good experiences with talk talk, (perhaps what I encountered was but a rouge agent looking to make his stats more impressive.) but after that carry on I'm not going to give them another chance myself.
