Bev, I set up & purchased PrintopiaPro, they have edu pricing. It works directing with AirPrinting on iPads. handiPrint is another one that is cheaper but I didn't get it to work. I also used the HP ePrint app but I'm not able to rename the printers. This only prints directly from the app and gets jobs from Evernote, Photos, etc. I tried to rename the printer but couldn't find the field in the printer's webpage. Will try again another day.

Bev, I was told my the Apple salesperson that I could use a Mac as a server to relay jobs to printers...

Get one cart and use it for all of them to sync, put a charging station in the classroom. Anyone start printing. I have only HP laser printers. I got HP's app but will try it tomorrow at work. I have a list of mostly-free-ish apps my vp gave me. Also I put "iTunes U" on them and picked a few titles about implementing iPads in education for the teaching staff (which includes me): Getting Started with iPad, Elementary Games (Perth Amboy Public Schools), Apps for the Classroom (Arkansas), Classroom Management with iPads (Palm Springs Unified), if you go through the K-12 listing on iTunes U, the state of Arakansas has basic textbooks listed. I also got iBooks and got he "iPad User Guide". I also spent 2 hours with an AppleTV device showing a bunch of teachers the above and setting up email, looking at Podcasts, Star Rover (cool GPS use here), Siri, Merriam Webster (say the work and it looks it up), setting up school email, installing apps (Sudoku) through app store which needed them to set up an iCloud account. I took Facetime off and went through Setting->General->Restrictions for no in app purchases and rating and locked it. I got a sync cart and macbookpro to set things up but I'm still in the first stages. In the article... "software preventing pupils from accessing inappropriate websites" I've installed the K-9 broswer app and will remove Safari "although they will be allowed to use sites such as Facebook and Twitter at home." Facebook is educational? anyway K-9 blocks facebook "tracking software to help police locate tablets which are lost or stolen." Find iPhone App works but with only 1 unit, still testing it out, unit has to be on though. "Parents ... are liable if they are lost or stolen due to negligence ... school has also taken out extra insurance."
