  2. Hi Sheridan, When you are installing Win 8 are you doing the UEFI install? as it shouldn't be asking for the key as it pulls it from the UEFI Bios (Supposedly) or try this method How to Recover Windows 8 OEM Product Key Embedded in BIOS | Password Recovery Let me know how you get on

  4. I have Wubi (Mint) installed on my home Windows 8 Pro machine. I have no issues at all and it's easy enough to uninstall.
  5. I have installed the Official 4.2.2 Rom with some S4 Features. It's ok and i do like the improvements made to the settings and icons etc. This is some of the new features. If you have the Original S3 Rom installed then this upgrades and keeps your data! to root again use http://download.chainfire.eu/229/CF-Root/CF-Auto-Root/CF-Auto-Root-m0-m0xx-gti9300.zip and use odin again to flash this root.

Hi, There is a way to install Linux (Ubuntu or Mint) Through a Windows installer this then enables you to uninstall through add/remove programs in control panel without having to worry about your boot manager and it give's a full installation of Ubuntu or Mint! http://www.psychocats.net/ubuntu/wubi.   7. The issue is the way the hard drive is booting. It's trying to boot into UEFI mode which most new laptops with Windows 8 installed come setup with. What you need to do is go into the bios and disable Secure boot then boot from Legacy Bios mode. If it's an Acer laptop then it will also allow you to boot from the .EFI File on the Windows 7 Disk this will then allow it to install. If you have any issues please let me know the make of laptop. Il also make a quick youtube video for you if you are still unable to get it to work.
