We had the exact same problem. This fixed it. Microsoft KB976399.

We also found that quite a few applications try to write to these areas so if you disable them you're out of luck. Still need some more testing but so far that's our findings.

You look at both products Papercut and PrintLimitPro and they are exactly the same. Somebody is ripping sombody off?

We used Print Manager Plus for a while but it was buggy for our 600-700 print queues. I wanted a all web based solution and went with Print Limit Pro. By far the best piece of print software I have seen.

Look in the active directory snap-in. Chances are you have a small little space right before the profile that's typed in. We had the same problem and that was the fix.
