Afternoon all!
We have around 40 Amazon Fire Tablets purchased with a view of using them as Kindle devices by previous IT Staff. I have just got off the phone with a lovely chap at Google who informed me their Admin tool can only manage Chromebook devices not Android devices....great.
My question now is, do you guys have any recommendations or tips on how we can lock the Play store and centrally manage the Apps available.
Thanks in advance
I bought a Vita before Christmas and I love it, as a PS+ member I get free games every month, and the quality of games now being released is much better, Killzone is fantastic its actually built on the Killzone 3 engine from PS3 and it seems a fair few ps4 games announced have vita versions too so far from dead
How do we all feel about tyres and fuel? I personally would like to see longer lasting tyres and refuelling, what's the point racing in the pinnacle of motorsport if you have to hold off for 70% of the race.
Perez just doesn't seem mature enough yet to be a McLaren driver like the way he battled with Jenson showed a lack of respect for his team-mate but considering he replaced Hamilton I suppose maturity and respect isn't everything and yeah he's a very likeable guy Riccardo and it would be nice for someone to come in and give Vettel some competition.
Maybe! Should imagine his wage bill wont be as high as Kimi's so that's probably a good shout, really hoping as a McLaren fan that they learn from this season and can come back next season with a car to finally challenge RedBull, their dominance atm reminds me of the Shumacher era when I pretty much stopped watching as it was the same every race.
I've just configured 5 iPads for our school using the Apple Configuration Utility, Meraki didn't like going through out Smoothwall however other than GPS location they both do the same thing. Ours are configured to sync to a backup of a 'Master iPad' we created so they are ready to go straight back out even if little Jimmy has fiddled with the Wi-Fi settings, it auto-names them too!
We had a problem with machines dropping off Impero, turned out the Impero service has issues restarting after the machine has gone into sleep or standby, Impero support advised we disable sleep by GP, haven't had an issue with it since!
Ouya did post on twitter i think it was, to say that any reviews currently on the net have been done on pre-release models sent to people who backed them and the machines were not intended to be used for press reviews.
We have recently invested in Impero after trialing ABTutor, Lanschool and a few others we found they just don't compare, the logging itself is invaluable as it gives you a log of every log-on, window opened, application used (and the path it was ran from), Screenshots of any violations that occurred and any printing they did whilst logged on.
The Impero support is also very good!
