  1. We have recently upgraded to Windows 7 Enterprise across the school and many users are experiencing an issue where after pressing CTRL ALT DEL and the screen does not return the login box. As a temporary fix, restarting the computer a few times fixes the issue but when the computer is restarted again the same happens. If you boot to safe mode with networking, it DOES NOT behave that way and brings the logon box immediately. If I login and then log out, the behaviour doesn't happen. It only happens when I restart or boot from shutdown. Any help is appreciated...
  2. Yes, tried that also and the server details are correct.
  3. As mentioned we are able to activate Office 2010 without issues. The time is the same on the server and the clients. All correct keys have been used.
  4. We are using VAMT 3.1 installed on Windows Server 2008 R2
  5. Hello, Our KMS server had been running without any issue for months on Windows Server 2008 R2, until recently when I tried to activate 25+ Windows 7 Machines and 25+ Office 2013 machines, and it just wouldn’t activate, giving the error “Error: 0xC004F074 The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer could not be activated. The Key Management Service (KMS) is unavailable”. We are currently able to activate Office 2010 without issues. I have updated VAMT to version 3.1, reinstalled VAMT on a fresh installation of Server 2008 R2 and also on Server 2012 R2, however this also gave the same error messages and I am still unable to activate Windows 7 Professional or Office 2013 using KMS. I have used the Volume Licencing Keys from the Microsoft Website (https://www.microsoft.com/Licensing/servicecenter/default.aspx) and am fairly confident that our keys are correct. I would be grateful for any assistance. Thank you.
  6. Hi, We've had a request from above for a system where forms (namely for trips, cover etc.) can be created, signed digitally and track the progress of the form (similar to parcel tracking where it displays the current location). Anyone have any systems in place similar to this or have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
  7. The problem disappears for the one laptop when plugged straight into the router. The rest of the networks internet connection is sporadically slow. External DNS is Google 8.8.8.8 + 8.8.4.4 No proxy in place Client DNS is set to Domain Controller
  8. Hello, We've been experiencing slow internet speeds as of late but think the cause could be somewhere inside our network. Any tips on identifying what could be the cause of the issue? Doing speedtests throughout the day we're getting varying results from 1mb/s to 90mb/s (we've got a 100mb leased line) and tracert's will take a long time to reach our default gateway. but when we plug a laptop directly into our router the problems seem to disappear. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
