  1. Well that didn't last long, content seems rather easier this time around.
  2. We supplied our ICT Teaching department with the WD drives and nearly all of them are now dead due to either being dropped or bashed around. We have now gone for Freecom Toughdrives, a little more expensive but do seem a lot more rugged (you can even get them in pink if that's your thing). 3. They are Acer Travelmate 6413LMi. I will have to see if they are also resetting BIOS settings like the password next time one comes back into the office.
  4. We have some laptops here that will turn the wireless off if you turn the laptop on when it isn't connected to the mains (and hasn't been used off the mains since it was last enabled). It works fine if you have the laptop connected to the mains however which i find most odd. I tried updating the BIOS revision to a later version but managed to kill a laptop completely as it froze during the process so i gave up with that idea. Teachers that have these laptops have just been told to check the wireless and enable it before they log on.
  5. We had cleaners start to steal things from our office. Started with the odd mars bar and biscuit from our fridge and ended up with a laptop. The cleaners do not have a key to our room anymore.
  6. So have they actually fixed anything or are just telling people various workarounds for their blunders?
  7. Earthen Ring - Horde as well. Wonder if we know each other Zero >.> Edit - Extremethia (mage) currently working on Sunwell.
  8. I see, then in that case i am just having the same problem as John D. Must be something to do with checking the result of the ping command.
  9. Hmm i cam getting the following error: "PHP Notice: Undefined index: debug in C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\ns\index.php on line 67" which is: if( $_GET["debug"] == "true" ) { $namesonly = false; }
  10. sc \\pcname stop "servicename" Think this should do it?
