But do waste your time getting exalted with Klaxxi and Golden Lotus, not sure which is worse
-
Hmm also just noticed getting Exalted with Klaxxi gets you a quest which gives you an epic ilvl 489 ring. Anyone know if there are similar quests for the other factions? Edit: Golden Lotus gives you a necklace, damn you Blizzard!!
-
They are much easier with 2 people I will admit. You may already be doing it but the Klaxxi dailies are really fast if you get the Raining Blood enhancement from Xaril. It does stupid stupid (stupid) damage and you kill every mob in about 3 seconds, you can pull a load and AoE them too and they still take stupid damage and also get stunned.

I dislike there are so many, the game is basically making you decide which ones to concentrate on rather than doing them all. If you look at the rewards it is pretty unlikely that you need to do them all anyway (assuming the completionist in you can cope with that). To access everything but pretty mounts: Tillers to Exalted (can ignore if you don't want to do farmville) Cloud Serpent to Exalted (well this is a pretty mount I know, but flying dragons!!) Klaxxi to Revered Golden Lotus to Revered ->August Celestials to Revered (Exalted if you are a tailor) ->Shadow Pan to Revered Doing this you are only ever doing 4 sets of dailies each day maximum and once you have Golden Lotus to revered you will have finished the Cloud Serpent and Klaxxi so will just be doing Tillers, Shadow Pan and August Celestials.

Anyone tried any non LFR raids yet?
-
Well if you do them every day after 2 months you will still be doing dailies, seems too long
-
Up to 48 daily quests now to gain rep with all factions. Really does bug me as I am a bit of a completionist but we are talking about 2+ hours of daily quests *sigh*. Has completely put me off leveling any alts too.
-
It was more like 2007, it's been around a while. And i can't say i have used it recently but can't remember seeing anything in any patch notes about it being updated.
-
Because it is bad, and the other aren't. Mumble all the way.
-
I have one, I love it, has great colour, viewing angles etc. It is also pretty cheap for an IPS monitor. Only drawback I can think of with it is it has no 1:1 pixel mapping so if you plug in an Xbox, PS3 etc you will get a stretched image as they are 16:9 devices. Possibly not the best for very fast fps gaming although I play battlefield 3, borderlands on it and notice no ghosting or other oddities. Edit: ... for playing Warcraft you want to get this.
-
Well i will be trying the LFR later to see if I can stay sane playing with the kind of people you usually find on that I think how they have set up heroics this time is that they are really supposed to be quite easy (there are no lvl 90 normal dungeons). The difficulty comes in doing the challenge modes and also doing the Glory of the Pandaran Hero achievement, these can really only be attempted if you play with people you know though. As my guild has so few active people these days I haven't really attempted these yet myself.

Yes the only issue with electrical work it that goes outside my remit so suddenly makes a simple job take a lot longer.
-
Does anyone know if any manufacturers still sell class 2 projectors (2 pin power, no earth)? We have a few rooms with interesting electrical installations where putting in a new class 1 projector would involve a fair amount of extra work. The ones we had previously were Epson X3 projectors.
-
Well the initial aim for game progression would be to do heroic dungeons till you get ilvl 463 (or 460 if they change it) to be able to do looking for raid which opens tomorrow. You want to get started on the golden lotus rep faction which is the most important as it gives patterns for professions and opens up 2 other rep factions. Klaxxi rep is another one that gives useful rather than fun stuff. For fun things, do Lorewalkers for the flying disc, cloud serpent faction for your own ... cloud serpent and farm and fishing dailies for other fun items.

All valor gear now needs rep as well as tokens, all epic recipes from vendors need rep. Even getting rep with certain factions needs rep.... rep rep rep.
-
You will replace gear so often while leveling that transmog'ing will get quite expensive if you want to keep using the best gear and keep the "look" in place. I would certainly keep the blue DK armor though for use later, it looks sweet. And yes my warrior has the purple paladin set too All easily gettable solo when you are lvl85, didn't try before that level. Purple Judgement Armor

Yes definitely find someone to do them with, been doing all my content so far with my friendly neighborhood tank and they are much faster . Well i'm not saying warcraft is perfect but there is a lot to do at max level. Raiding, PvP, scenarios, challenge modes, pet battles, achievement hunting, dailies, rep grinds etc. As opposed to a game like guild wars 2 which is lovely till you hit max level then suddely there is absolutely nothing to do at all.

I will admit my knowledge of taunt mechanics is a little out of date but I am pretty sure on most bosses where it would be advantageous to taunt spam there are DR still, Hagara for instance. But anyway back to Pandaria... Hit 90 on my monk yesterday and dear god there are a lot of dailies, the amount of blue exclamation marks scares me a little.
-
Possible but not for very long - Diminishing Returns. They think of everything don't they! A lot of raid bosses do though require 2 or sometimes 3 tanks in order to distribute damage between them. They will taunt off each other when damage or debuffs get too high on the other.
-
With 99% of raid bosses now being tauntable there really isn't any excuse for tanks losing aggro at any point. 3 seconds of no DPS in a boss fight can be the difference of a kill and not a kill, there is no reason to hold back. Tanks should be aware all DPS should start popping cooldowns 0.1s after a boss is pulled and deal with it.
-
Threat meters are fairly pointless now as well. Due to the threat changes a while ago if a tank so much as breathes near a mob he will have so much threat a DPS will never catch up. I actually hate this change in general, there were so many bosses especially in vanilla content that required careful threat management, was fun.

Nothing in EPGP is opinion based. EP is all quantitative and will be given for specific things like being on time for raids, spending time raiding and possibly things like providing the raid with extra materials such as flasks/potions etc. Raiders really should just be very happy a good DKP system is being used, trust me when i say it is a hell of a lot of work for the raid leaders to try and make looting fair for all. The other things are standard raid requirements too. If you want things more casual try the LFRaid system which is actually very good now and has automatic distribution of loot so there can be no arguments
-
If anyone in a half decent raid group is caught selling BoE items they got with DKP i would think they would very quickly not have a raid group anymore.
-
I would recommend any of the lower level monks to seriously look at using the Brewmaster spec for leveling. It doesn't have any drawbacks, it does more DPS than Windwalker on anything more than 1 mob (and about the same on one), you are pretty much unkillable and more importantly you get to throw barrels of beer at things.
