  1. See here also. Pretty good list of some things to consider (see prevention tab). Some obviously more effective than others, but also some that might have more a negative impact on the day-to-day workings of the business.
  2. Hi, Couldn't really find anything on this, hope I'm not asking something that's been asked 100 times (or answered in some form of document). When trying to download a folder, it opens it rather than downloading it - is there any way to actually download an entire folder? I thought maybe zipping the folder might solve it, but the folder appears as about 114 bytes in size and contains nothing - any ideas? Thanks for all your help so far + the awesome product Nick.
  3. Hi, Just wondering if we've configured something wrong or if its needed for use. Whenever a drive is accessed, all the folders contained have their date modified changed to when the drive was viewed. e.g. looking at the science department drive (S:\Science) all the folders contained within it when just browsing that drive (not even selecting those folders) will have their date modified to that time.
  4. Thanks for that, we were testing on a DC so they didn't have access to log on the server.
  5. Hi, We've just looked into setting up HAP and have been testing it aiming towards our future goals (moving to Win7 possibly this summer). Our current folder shares seem to work by sharing the individual folder. e.g. \\servername\homes\%username%$ However for our win7 build our folders will be shared using folder redirection and is created by gpo when the user logs in. e.g. \\servername\homes$\%username% Best Practice: Roaming Profiles and Folder Redirection (a.k.a. User State Virtualization) - Group Policy Central This gives an overview of how we set up our win7 folder redirection. Now when configuring the drive mapping the first method works when either mapping via \\servername\homes\%username% or %homedir but if the folder is shared using the second method we can't seem to get the drive mappings on HAP to work, it just says "Something is wrong" with the below in event viewer: Any help would be much appreciated.
