Hi again, Apologies if this has already been asked. Have you tested both speaker cables with a meter just in case you have a stray strand anywhere? Is this a low impedance or high impedance (100v) system? Have you swapped the speakers around to confirm that it isn't a speaker? Does the amplifier only have 2x outputs? ie left & right Jeff

Just to clarify - That isolator goes between the audio source and the amplifier. It doesn't go between the amplifier and the speakers. What type and size speaker cable are you using ?

There is no legislation about the height of whiteboards - just recommendations. To be fair it's the teacher using the whiteboard, so we normally enquire as to who is using it and find a happy medium between the reach of the teachers and a sensible height for the students looking at it. The "working at height" bit, I presume they mean building regulations where light switches have a max height of 1.2m. Doesn't apply to whiteboards as there are alternative options ie wireless slates.
