They are allowing logons but stay on welcome screen as the server has crashed. No errors in the logs from what I can see. If I unplug the network lead and then boot the server up it goes to the ctrl+alt+del screen straight away. If I leave the network lead in it sits on the applying computer settings screen for an hour or so.

There is no task at that time. It seems to be one server or the other that crashes.

We have a number of RDS servers. They seem to crash at the same time every week. We then have to reboot the servers and they then hang for 1-2 hours on applying computer settings. has anyone come across this before?

I agree. that batch of laptop was not good. Keyboard and trackpad were cheap and awful. HP 620s wireless is shambolic

We are currently looking at upgrading one of our ICT suites. We have a really tight budget and are looking at ZooStorm PCs as they fit the spec and price requirements. I was just wondering if anyone has bought from Zoostorm before and if they could give me some feedback good or bad. thanks

We are having a issue only ever so often where by, if it try and vnc into a laptop it willl vnc into another laptop? has anyone come across this before or got any advise on what is wrong and how to fix it? any advise would be greatly appreciated

I have recently become the network manager of a school. I have inherited a DC with pretty much all policies rolled into one or two default GPOs. The logons take FOREVER. I just wanted to know how other people manage their GPO's. Do you do the same or are you a one GPO per policy person. Or do you have another way.

We run a sendlogon.exe and logon.bat on logon. This then applies their filtering policy.

We are currently experiencing issues with Bloxx. We have noticed that staff using roaming devices are sometimes having to re run their bloxx scripts to unblock certain websites like youtube. Has anyone else had this issue with Bloxx?

Converting Backup Virtual Machines

I take a snapshot and export as a backup using XenCenter -
We currently have an ESXi Server which has 5 servers within it. I export a backup of each server on a regular basis. Does anyone know how to convert this .XVA backup VM to something that will open up in virtualbox or Hyper-V.

What ever you do. Do not add the macs to a .local windows domain
