Hi all, Trying to set-up the new timetable for next year, and everytime I go through the following seqence I just get an error The route is: - Tools - Acedemic Management - Apply Timetable It won't even load the screen I just get "An error occurred whilst attempting to launch the Apply timetable routine" Anyone had anything similar? I have sent a copy of our database to capita for review today, but they say it might have to go back to the developers which I imagine will take some time. Thanks for any help in advance Thomas

If you do this, does the user then have to login to sims as well as the work station? Or does this happen automatically when they login to windows?
-
Hi All, Does sims have the ability to re-set passwords for a group of users? We are looking for security purposes to perhaps ask teachers once a year to change their passwords, then bulk re-set them. Has anyone done anything like this before? I am aware that I can go into each individual user and re-set it, but am not looking at doing it this way due to the time it will take. Thanks Tom

"allergy - hard work!" , diagnosed medical condition if you were to beleave some of our students. Yes we are going to develop the description I think so it is more useful. SIMS still needs much development for the medical entry side of things I think!

Ok Thanks, Could not work out why this was not in look-ups! It still does not make sense to be, but atleast I know now Ok I will have a look into this for reporting, we need to update the way we enter in our medical things as it is a nightware to report on at current!

The notes you are referring to is pulling from notes added within the Medical Notes box. Within Medical Events I know you can add a new event type, but is there a way to add in anymore descriptions for events? I.e. I want to have a drop down option for a different type of Immunisation?

Where do I have to go to pull that. I have started via the normal route into: - Reports - Design report Can't see which data field I should selec to grab notes... Many Thanks

I am still having this same problem, did you manage to solve this issue? I think it is becuase of the day it saves the docuement/note as a linked document means you cannot pick it up within the reporting element. Correct me if I am wrong? Many Thanks Tom

I'm taking from that, this process might not be as smooth as I had hoped for...

Hi all, Our current system server is still running on the old solus 2 software so we are looking to upgrade to solus 3. Any advice before jumping into the upgrade would be most appreciated, so we can keep the process as smooth as possiable. Thanks Tom

The disclaimer is currently automatic one produced by capita at the end of all e-mails we send. Saying any information is that of our schools, and cannot be copied. It also states views are that of the author and not of the school.

Had an e-mail from Capita today to say that all emails sent out to parents or teachers will not have the Capita or any other disclaimer at the end of them, before we take the update. Not sure what to do really as I don't think we will update straight away, but we need some sort of disclaimer on our e-mails. Is the best option to manually add this on until the update comes out? Thanks in advance Tom

Hi Tom, Got to the bottom of this one, unfortunatley someone had only set-up detentions for 10 weeks from the start of term meaning they were not created for this week. I have changed this now so they run until the end of term. On the pupil view though I think once a student has got over five detentions you cannot add another one on indivudually, although you can add him to a detention session. Thanks for your help.

That is an option, but I don't really want to manage changing that all the time. Also worries me when I active it another staff maybe in it at the same time and add an event they should not be able to. There must be a way in which you can create a group which can only use certain behaviour types?
