When a customer is finished with a document. Office Upload center will say the document has failed to upload when a matter of fact is has uploaded. Any reason why this is saying it's failed when it hasn't?

We are currently in the process of moving over to Google. But we aren't going to get there if it is taking over a week to migrate one mailbox from O365 to Gmail. I have changed the migration speed to 2000. But it is still taking too long. The way we are migrating our mailbox is by using the Migration tool found in Google Admin. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a faster way of migrating mailboxes from O365 to Gmail?

Some reason when I click on the Windows icon. It just crashes and does nothing Anyone else had this issue?

The only issue we have is relying on the teachers. With Spiceworks, does it need to communicate with their external servers if you are hosting it internally?

We do have our own helpdesk system. The way we have it is, student comes in to the service centre with a problem with their device, book it in with paper fault log form, that then gets booked on our helpdesk with the paper copy still with the broken device. We want to cut out the paper and make it digitally.

I'm not sure if anyone is able to help me. Currently work in a school where we use a lot of paper printing out fault log sheets which are used to book in students/Staff devices. Is there a digital fault log sheet app which anyone is using/found? We looked at Device magic but we are not sure whether to use this as the app talks to external servers. We want to look at something which we can install locally on our servers so it only talks to our servers. - ITGeek123

Hi Everyone! Has anyone managed to get Bootchamp to load when an AD user logs on a mac so if they wanted to restart into Windows, they can! I installed Bootchamp on the local admin side and it loads. But, when I log on as an AD user it does not appear in the icon dock. Any ideas? Matt

Not to worry everyone! I have resolved it It was due to an old batch file that loads on the AD account when they log on which was directing it to an old printer.

Hey guys and girls! Currently stumbled in a problem with a user and printing. When the user logs in he has an error that prompts up (See picture). I have tried re installing the printer, was still doing it. I tried re installed Uniflow (Canon Cost centre/printer server) and still doing it. But, when I log in as my self (Domain admin) it doesn't appear for me. Any idea why this is happening?

The problem is I have come from a role that was mainly Hardware and software. Networking is all new to me, although I got a Distinction in college I have forgotten so much. What book would you recommend me reading to get me back on track? I am currently learning the network infrastructure but it is taking a while

Morning Folks! Currently having an issue on school site where students are unable to add network printer drivers. It always requires an admin password. When I used to be a student at the school it used to be when a user logged on, the printer drivers would be pushed down to the computer and install so when they went to devices and printers (Or back in the day XP Printers and Faxes) the printer drivers were installed and the user could print with no issue. I believe ever since the school moved over to Windows 7. This has stopped working. I am new to networking and wish to get this sorted. Any ideas why this isn't working?

Here is the issue we are having at the school. We currently have 10 new iMacs wih Yosemite installed. We wish to run windows through Parallels. The issue we are having is after installing Windows 7 through Parallels, we log off the local admin account and log on an AD account to find that when we click on Parallels it is asking for the user to find a VM image or create one. What we want is for when a teacher logs on to the mac, clicks on Parallels, to hit run and for windows to load. Is this possible? Matt

Right, found out why it was playing up. After all of this, my manager wants me to able to mount the students user areas to either the dock or finder. Is this possible? The kids log on to the mac with there AD user name and password.

Need some help! I work as an IT Technician at a secondary school. We are a school who provide iPads to the students to do school work on. If for whatever reason printing server is down for iPads we tell the teachers to tell the kids to upload there work to webdav through there iPads which is fantastic because they can access the shared network drives which they need too. But, if a student is on a mac and has logged in with there AD (Active directory) details they can only access there user area drive not the shared drives they would be able to access if they had logged on to a windows computer. I was wondering if there is a way of resolving this? Or is there an alternative to webdav navigator you get on iPads and iPhones?.

Heya guys/girls! We have upgraded one of our mac mini's to Yosemite to see if it will affect anything. The only issue we have is Yosemite will not detect bootpicker 2.2. Anyone else having this issue? We dual boot our macs with W7 and Mavericks.
