I have seen this before, when I saw it, it was down to the firewall resetting any connection after 5 mins. I suggest you check with RM.

Have you looked at the Third Party Reporting stuff in the report engine? To see it you need to be a member of the CES Third Party Reporting Group in system manager. This gives you more info and it might be what your looking for.

I fixed this a while back. To solve this I have a script that copies the start menu items to the C drive of the local machine at start up and then the group policy points at the folder on the C drive. If your other polices are set correctly it works like a dream. I can't remember the finer details at the mo but If you want further details just PM me.

We are about to change our corporate style and this includes changing the font to Ariel instead of good old times new roman. Anyone know how to change the font of the normal template and deploy it ? We have roaming profiles so each user has there own normal template so I'm not sure how to go about it. Is there a GPO ? I would like it to happen by deployment / logon script instead of asking the users to change it because we all know what hassle that will cause !

I would like to do the same. Use the footer to display the logos of the school. Did anyone manage this ? If so how ? I'm quite new to joomla.

Thanks for the advise about the module suffixes. But mine also looks like the image above. The JSN Imageshow is missing from the simple template but yet it works on all the others . Help !

I'm spending the next couple of days moving the school web site on to the Edugeek package. It's brilliant! But the one thing I can't figure out is bullet pointed lists. I would like my bullet pointed lists to be double line spaced i.e. * Item 1 * Item 2 * Item 3 Whenever I use the bulleted list button it won't do it. I've tried putting blank lines under each bulleted line but they disappear when I view it. The only workround I've found is to put the lists into tables and miss a row each time. I'm using the JCE Editor as per the instructions. Sorry if this question is really simple but I'm just getting to grips with Joomla.

I know it’s not the usual "Hardware" but I'm sure that comms systems are also the responsibility of us techies! This weekend our phone system was hacked from outside school. The attack centred on our Voice Mail System/Auto Attendant (the auto answer system that answers every call "welcome to... press One for etc) The phone system spent 2 hrs and 5 mins calling international numbers until telewest shut down our lines. We didn't know that the voice mail system had the ability to make calls it's self (the function is enabled out of the box) As the calls were made by our "kit" the call charges are the schools problem. Talking to our comms provider this has happened in other places.
