    Wow, thanks for the speedy reply! I think I will give it a go then, I guess the downside is that I can't switch between OSs easily but working in Windows is so painfully slow at the moment that it's not productive anyway. Thanks again.

    I've found that they're very lenient on checking up. My daughter is a student so we always use the discount but have only had to prove it a handful of tines.

    I have installed Windows XP on my Mac via VMWare Fusion and find it very slow. Do you think it would be faster using Bootcamp?
