Technology & Innovation Manager We are seeking an excellent IT Manager with a “can do” attitude to develop and implement information technology and data services throughout Moor House School & College, setting the vision for future innovation and drawing stakeholders together on this journey. The post holder will provide dynamic, creative and effective management of the IT Team to create a flexible and proactive team that supports the technological needs of Moor House whilst ensuring compliance with best practice and relevant legislation. The right candidate must have worked in a similar environment and have a good understanding of Windows Operating systems, O365 and MS Office apps, as well as VMware, Sophos and iBoss. Senior IT Services Technician Salary – £27,137 to £30,203 inclusive (dependant on experience / qualifications) A suitably experienced, organised and proactive individual is required to lead the provision of support to students and staff at Moor House on all IT related matters. Key duties and responsibilities include: Support and deputise for the Technology & Innovation manager in the delivery of IT services to students and staff on all IT related matters; Co-ordinate and lead on the setting up and maintaining of Moor House’s laptops provided for students and staff use; Management of the IT inventory, including hardware items as well as software licenses and warranties; Co-ordinate and manage IT support ensuring responses are efficiently and effectively provided, logging requests in our helpdesk system appropriately, and providing detailed resolutions. Support and supervise the IT Technician as necessary Candidates will be able to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role which includes leading on supporting the IT needs of others at a variety of levels in a similar environment, coupled with experience of PC and other IT hardware fault finding. In addition, level 3 NVQ in IT or an equivalent qualification and/or experience is essential.
