  1. We are seeking an excellent IT Manager with a “can do” attitude. The role includes maintaining our IT systems, including 10 virtual servers, nearly 200 workstations/laptops and other related equipment; providing first line support for out phone system, as well as managing our mobile phone and Sky contracts. The right candidate must have worked in a similar environment and have a good understanding of Windows Operating systems, Exchange and Office suites, as well as VMware, Sophos and iBoss. In addition, you must have initiative and must be able to train staff. Excellent customer service skills are also needed. Moor House is a special school for children and young people aged 7 to 19 with significant speech, language and communication needs, providing a mainstream curriculum modified to suit the needs of our students. The school is very well respected in the community, and has been judged Outstanding by Ofsted in successive inspections since 2011. Our student numbers have nearly doubled in the past five years, following the opening of our Sixth Form. With our new residential accommodation about to be completed, we are about to embarque on our Refurbishment project, which will see the creation of a number of new classrooms, as well as other facilities. Salary is £29-33k per annum full time, depending on experience. MHS is a special school for students from 7-19 with a range of severe speech, language and communication needs.
